Osborn Farm is one of Pam’s favorites, and it’s a good option when you want to pick pumpkins close to home.

Admission and parking are free, with pumpkins sold by the pound. Weekend activities include hayrides and barrel train rides, with additional charges for activities. Bring some cash for the petting zoo and independent vendors, even though the farm accepts cards.

You can keep your visit simple or leave time for a few extras. Either way, give the kids a chance to find their own pumpkins. The lopsided one usually has the most personality.

Downtown Loveland Pumpkin Festival

Saturday, October 10, 2026 · Noon–5 p.m.

This one isn’t a pumpkin patch, but it belongs on your fall calendar. The Downtown Pumpkin Festival brings family-friendly fall fun to three blocks of downtown Loveland.

Make an afternoon of it, and leave time to stop at a local shop or grab something to eat while you’re downtown.

Something From the Farm

We went every fall when my boys were little, and it’s still one of my favorites. If you’re looking for a place to start a fall tradition with your family, this one would be on my list.

Something From the Farm is a family-owned pumpkin patch on the south end of Fort Collins. Its published activity list includes hayrides, bale and corn mazes, and a pumpkin trebuchet. Check with the farm before visiting to confirm which activities are available that day.

The Bartels Farm
