If you’re looking for a home for sale in Firestone, CO with four bedrooms, plenty of room to spread out, and a neighborhood that actually feels like a neighborhood, 5370 Silverleaf Ave deserves a closer look.
Built in 2019, this Neighbors Point home offers 2,394 finished square feet above grade, four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a three-car garage, and another 995 square feet in the unfinished basement.
But the square footage is only part of the story.
What the sellers have loved most about living here is how easily the house — and the neighborhood around it — fits everyday life. Think kids riding bikes in the cul-de-sac, morning walks through the park, dinner on the patio, and spring evenings with the doors open and the lilacs blooming outside.

This is a house with space in all the right places.
There’s a large attached garage with room for storage, an actual mudroom, a walk-in pantry, generous closets, upstairs laundry, large bathrooms, and an unfinished basement that gives you nearly 1,000 additional square feet to work with.
Those aren’t necessarily the things that make you stop scrolling through listing photos. They are, however, the things you start appreciating about three weeks after moving in.
The current owners have also made improvements that make the home even easier to enjoy. They added the backyard pergola in 2022, installed a front screen door, added extra door shelving for spices and medicines, and replaced the microwave in 2026.

The heart of this home is exactly where you’d expect it to be: the kitchen and living room.
The sellers say this is where everyone naturally gathers, and it’s easy to see why. The spaces are open to one another, so you can be cooking dinner while still being part of whatever is happening in the living room.
The kitchen has a large pantry, under-cabinet lighting, and plenty of outlets — including outlets on the island. These are little things, but they’re also the kind of details you notice once you actually live somewhere.
Nearby, the large mudroom gives backpacks, coats, shoes, groceries, and all the other evidence of daily life somewhere to land before it takes over the rest of the house.

All four bedrooms are upstairs, along with two full bathrooms and the laundry room.
And I will forever consider upstairs laundry in a two-story house a win. Nobody needs to haul baskets of clothes between floors for the rest of their natural life.
There’s plenty of closet space throughout the home, and the four-bedroom layout gives you flexibility for kids, guests, a home office, or whatever your household needs.
It’s a floor plan that gives everyone somewhere to go without making the house feel disconnected.

Then there’s the basement.
The 1004-square-foot unfinished space gives you room to grow without having to buy a bigger house today.

The current owners have used the basement as another gathering and play space, describing it as especially kid-friendly. Keep it unfinished and you have an enormous amount of storage, workout, hobby, or play space. Finish it later, and you can create something completely different as your needs change.
That flexibility is a big part of what makes this four-bedroom home in Firestone work for the long haul.
Ask the sellers which improvement made the biggest difference to the way they live here, and the answer is easy: the pergola.
They added it in 2022 to make the patio more comfortable during sunny days and calm evenings. Now, it’s one of their favorite places to spend time at home.
Their description of a perfect evening here is pretty simple: spring or summer, doors open, lilacs blooming, and everyone outside.
Honestly, that sells the backyard better than I can.
There’s also a patio for grilling, perennial flowers that return year after year, and easy-care landscaping. Window well covers make the backyard more usable without having to worry about open wells while kids are playing outside.
Out front, xeriscaping and pollinator-friendly, low-water landscaping help keep yard maintenance manageable.
It feels established without giving you a giant landscaping to-do list the minute you move in.

When I asked for a favorite memory that captured what living here has been like, they didn’t mention anything inside the house.
They said:
“The neighbors gathering in the cul-de-sac as the children ride their bikes and play.”
That tells you quite a bit about Neighbors Point.
The sellers describe it as a quiet neighborhood with great neighbors, a nearby park, and plenty of places to walk. Their regular morning route is about three miles through the park and surrounding neighborhoods.
It’s the kind of neighborhood where the community extends beyond your property line.

Firestone’s location is certainly convenient if you need access to I-25, but one of the things the sellers have enjoyed is how much there is to do close to home.
St. Vrain State Park is nearby for fishing, kayaking, camping, and getting outside. There are walking and biking trails around Barefoot Lakes, along with Carbon Valley Recreation Center and neighborhood parks.
For everyday life, shopping, restaurants, groceries, and home-improvement stores are all nearby.
And then there are the things that make a community feel like home rather than just somewhere you sleep: Fourth of July festivities, Frederick Miner Days, Trunk or Treat, and Santa making his way through the neighborhood on a firetruck each year.
The sellers summed Firestone up simply: “It’s a growing community with plenty to do.”
I think that’s a pretty good description.
When I asked the sellers what they’ll miss most about 5370 Silverleaf Ave, their answer was just two words:
“The space.”
And that might be the best way to understand this house.
You have four bedrooms upstairs. Gathering spaces on the main level. A three-car garage. A backyard that’s already established. And almost 1,000 additional square feet downstairs that you don’t have to decide what to do with yet.
The house gives you room for the life you have now and options for the life you might have later.

I think the buyer for 5370 Silverleaf Ave is someone who wants space without immediately inheriting a giant project list.
You get four bedrooms, a three-car garage, an established backyard, good storage, and nearly 1,000 unfinished square feet downstairs. There’s enough room to spread out now and still make the house your own later.
But what I like most is that the sellers’ favorite things aren’t really “features.” They talk about lilacs blooming with the doors open, grilling on the patio, walking through the neighborhood in the morning, and watching kids ride bikes with the neighbors in the cul-de-sac.
That’s the stuff a listing sheet can’t really capture — and it’s what makes this home for sale in Firestone, CO worth seeing in person.
